Blackjack Dealer Rules

Blackjack Dealer Rules is the most important part of the game of Blackjack. No, one would want to play if they don’t know the rules of this famous game, so here are some important rules you need to know before you start playing.

Dealer pays all the bets. Dealers have the privilege to select the winning cards by folding or raising the other players’ bets. After folding, the dealer picks up the chips of the player who folded and pays him the amount. The other players have to take their bet, and the dealer takes the amount from the pot.

Dealer selects the first card. The dealer must not fold at any point in the game, even if there is a bet on his cards. Any time a dealer has the chance to take more cards, he can choose the first card, since that is the only card which can lead to the highest possible payoff.

The dealer’s pockets are empty before a player raises. When a player raises the bet after being dealt the first card, the dealer will automatically hold his pocket cards, because the first card has already been dealt to the other players.

A player has the privilege to fold before raising. A player can decide to fold once the dealer has already led them for that round, because there is no possibility that another player can call the bet now, since the dealer is already going to hand out cards.

Player may turn over the card from the dealer’s hand and reveal it. Only players with three-bet chips or higher may reveal a card from the dealer’s hand. In case the card is of the highest value, it is taken by the player that is on the flop.

Dealers may not change hands during the game. A player may have only two cards from the dealer at any given time, so that the player would be required to choose the right card from the deck.

These are just some of the basic Blackjack Dealer Rules that you need to know before you start playing. The game is very competitive, but this doesn’t mean that you can cheat your way to the top. It’s still a game of skill, and these Blackjack Dealer Rules can help you out.
